Another disadvantage of user-based recommendation algorithms is that you have to know the current user and cannot recommend anything if the current user is anonymous. This can be overcome by item-based recommendations (just like Niko recommends to the anonymous customer ;-) ) and probably by a system that is based on a graph of products.</description>
