Position: Country Manager, Germany


The Country Manager is responsible for launching and managing Grouper operations in Germany. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading customer acquisition efforts, managing press, PR, and marketing, overseeing venue acquisition, legal and financial bookkeeping, and local hiring.


  • Lead online and offline customer acquisition efforts

  • Establish measurable KPIs and execution strategies

  • Manage press, PR, and marketing efforts, with a strong focus on ROI and LTV

  • Oversee the venue sales teams and member experience

  • Maintain a balanced budget with attention to legal and tax compliance

  • Hire out local positions as required

  • Build internal processes to help manage partner campaigns and outreach activity
  • Report to and meet with the Head of International Strategy at a minimum of once per week to Ensure proper alignment on company growth

Experience Required

  • Demonstrated passion for grouper and our mission

  • 3-5 years of experience in start-ups, with emphasis on growth in, operations and

    general management

  • Self-starter, intrinsically motivated and able to go from idea to execution


  • Excellent project management and organization skills

  • The ability to develop and Implement growth plan did are measurable and


  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate Effectively with

    other teams

  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and a results oriented track record
