Auctionata works with more than 300 freelance art expert worldwide. We are now looking for a full time assistant for the Expert-Network management team.

Assistant (m/f) for the Management Team of Auctionata’s Expert-Network (full time)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Acquisition of freelance art experts for the Expert-Network
  • Sourcing through the international Expert-Network for our shop and our auctions
  • Planning and implementing projects in collaboration with the sales- and marketing team as well as the specialist departments
  • Development, support and optimization of the Expert-Network
  • Administrative and operational support for the Expert-Network
  • Sending out estimation requests to the Expert-Network
  • Database and list maintenance
  • BackOffice and accounting activities
  • Copywriting in both German and English
  • Vast development opportunities according to your strengths

 

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • BA Degree in Cultural Management, Art History or Communication Management; Courses in business or commercial knowledge in general is an advantage
  • Art-historical knowledge is a great advantage
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Experience in sales, customer service or community management is a great advantage
  • Work experience in a start-up, gallery or auction house
  • Office management skills are a great advantage
  • Bi-Lingual candidates preferred (English / German)
  • Fluent in English and in German – both written and spoken; other languages are a great advantage
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, Outlook) –ideas for new/better tools are welcome; ability to understand new working systems quickly
  • Organisational talent
