As the leader of the Coya product marketing function you will play a key role in both shaping the company’s strategy and building a high performance company.

In your role you will

  • Develop a marketing strategy utilizing both Online/Offline channel mix - based on customer insights, market drivers and the company’s goals
  • Define the marketing system needs and lead the implementation of the tool landscape (Analytics/Monitoring/Others)
  • Drive the growth and customer acquisition strategies through product and marketing channel optimization
  • Manage a substantial - multi million euro - marketing budget and monitor the utilisation across all marketing channels
  • Be responsible for UX strategy and lead overall direction of our user/customer experience and drive execution of brand and product design
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking as well as deep customer research to ensure we stay three steps the incumbents - by serving our customers needs the best
  • Collate, analyse and share market insights with company peers to ensure alignment and continuous learning in the organization
  • Hire top professional marketeers across the channel mix to make the marketing strategy come to life
  • Lead and mentor your team to help them excel and meet their individual goals
  • Collaborate effectively with the founders and all company functions to drive acquisition performance, as well as, customer experience
  • Report directly to the Company MD

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of senior management experience in marketing, online marketing, product management, project management
  • Previous experience with design thinking is a plus
  • Profound understanding of offline and online (performance) marketing channels (Affiliate, SEA, SEO, Display, CRM, Social media, PR (B2C), Offline, Partnerships) as well as UX
  • Strong understanding of attribution models, cross channel & cross device marketing
  • Have a good understanding of branding and how to achieve consumer loyalty; It is essential to our mission that you are 100% customer centric in your approach
  • Outstanding people management skills and experience in leading teams of 3+ employees including motivating and providing meaningful feedback to ensure growth and development of your employees
  • Experience in managing min. 1+ million annual marketing budgets
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with numbers, incl. using hard data and metrics to measure performance, determine improvements and operating the day to day business.
  • Ability to self motivate, drive, execute and deliver against ambitious goals
  • Must be fluent in English, native / fluent German is a big plus!
  • InsurTech/Insurance/Fintech/Start-up experience is a plus
