Seems like our job is a perfect match: We're looking for an Digital Marketing Manager who's eager to use the given creative freedom to push our brand awareness (inter-)nationally, to generate leads and to have a significant impact on commercetools' success!


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planing, conception and realization of all online marketing activities (SEO, SEA, Retargeting, Display, Affiliate, Email Marketing, etc.)
  • Implement and improve our social media activities on Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, etc.
  • Independent realization of online marketing campaigns with the overall goal to boost our visibility, push the brand awareness and generate leads
  • Monitor and analyze the search and promotional activities, prepare reports and monitor important KPIs for performance measurement and recommendations for action
  • Continuous optimization of all online marketing activities to push performance and lead conversion
  • Trend scouting, market and competition monitoring within the digital marketing world as well as set up new, innovative digital marketing channels
  • Close cooperation and coordination with the Product Management, PR and Software Development
  • Interface between Online Sales and Content Management

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor or Master in Online Media, Communication, Marketing or equivalent education
  • At least two years of work experience in online marketing, ideally in e-commerce or a tech/software company (SaaS/PaaS)
  • Keen analytical understanding and high affinity for tools, numbers as well as their interpretation
  • Excellent skills in the areas of SEM, PPC, social media, web analytics and marketing automation
  • Experience in managing SEA campaigns as well as professional use of SEA related tools and technologies (tracking, landing page optimization, Adwords editor, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of how a website is build, knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is highly appreciated
  • Experience with web analytic tools, CMS (e.g. Hippo) and marketing automation systems (e.g. Pardot)
  • Strong MS Office and/or iWork user skills
  • German on a native speaker level as well as fluent business English
  • An exceptional level of integrity, raw intelligence, creativity, energy and passion
  • Professional attitude, high communicative competence and the ability to reduce complexity to an understandable level
  • A perfect combination of strategical & entrepreneurial thinking as well as hands-on mentality and a good dose of pragmatisms
  • Independent and solution-oriented work style with the ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and ability to work as a self starter with little supervision in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment
  • Team player who loves to work in a tech company with international colleagues
