Yes, we are looking for that rare, talented, unicorn full stack developer like many other startups. But, we are not like any other startup. First, the topic of our work is undoubtedly very fun – we work with, curate and sell premium spirits like whisky, gin, rum, cognac & co. Second, we have a great, complimentary team with international experience trying to build something unique – are you the missing piece to our puzzle?
Are quite high frankly. We need you to be fully committed to this gig. We live and breathe (and drink) our brand and product. We want a partner in crime who thinks critically, creatively and takes initiative, not a drone working off to do lists. Of course we expect some other buzz words of you like experience in a similar role, team player attitude, performance under pressure etc.
We also want to know what you expect of us, the team, your role and future possibilites? We want to provide you with value that lasts longer than a paycheck. We aim to help you grow and develop on a personal level as well as help you develop your skills.
You know your way around eCommerce and understand its complexities. You’re all about math but you respect great design. You don’t simply turn images into websites but pay attention to detail to always create a delightful and enchanting experience. But front end stuff development is just your hobby – you create slick websites in your sleep – however your true secret power is the backend. You love to deep dive into database alchemy to help us create the backbone of Tastillery and find smart ways to apply data to everything from product recommendations to email marketing. Sure in the beginning you’ll be the guy or gal who codes everything, but over time you’ll help us build a team of code ninjas, developing Tastillery into a cutting edge place for people to work. Oh, and if you would have two tatoos, they’d read: “Mobile First” and “Driven by Data”.
Our mission is to inspire people to drink better. In order to do that we’re creating both a physical and a digital product with the challenge of pinpointing down something that’s hard to quantity: personal taste.
