Are you passionate about growth and conversion optimization? Do you love data and have experience in end to end project delivery and growth conversion?

Are you a creative, analytical, and strategic thinker with good intuition? If so, we want you to take over the planning and execution of technically advanced solutions to generate growth for the customer base and revenue of our ventures and start-ups.

We’re looking for an experienced Growth Hacker/Marketer or a former engineer/PM with marketing experience to join our operational marketing team located in our Berlin Outpost. The role will support ventures from our different strategic lighthouses across Europe.

You'll use a data-driven approach to conceptualize, test and analyse potential new research in order to determine their viability and potential impact on the growth of our ventures and start-ups. You’ll need to have a broad skill-set: an understanding of marketing, programming knowledge, and analytical know-how.

 Your tasks

  • Build working relationships with venture/start-up to establish growth strategies to support their revenue goals
  • Analyse all aspects of the venture’s /start-up’s conversion funnel and identify the largest areas for improvement
  • Implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities
  • Increase conversion rates by working with the venture’s /start-up’s website team to optimize conversion path
  • Develop and implement testing process to collect key learnings and convert into content
  • Development and implementation of A/B or multivariate tests
  • Work with small budgets to create and execute growth marketing tactics and activities (i.e. viral features, product integrations) aligned with the overall marketing approach
  • Development and implementation of tracking concepts
  • Define of success metrics
  • Use of statistics and analytics software (or advanced Excel Records) to visualize data including dependencies
  • Control data integrity and quality
  • Educate venture/start-up teams and create a growth marketing mindset and culture

 Your profile

  • Highly creative, curious, and analytical: Think of the right questions to ask, think outside the box, then use data to back up your thesis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media Sciences or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience in growth marketing. Extensive knowledge in converting traffic into registered users/leads and conversion rate optimization (samples and results of past growth marketing projects)
  • Experience in growing consumer audiences for web-based products and native mobile apps
  • Knowledge of a range of acquisition and engagement channels and tactics (e.g., social, SEO, SEA, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, email, mobile notifications, offline)
  • Understand user behavior trends with the end goal of increasing traffic, conversion, and engagement
  • Experience A/B testing at both small and large scales
  • Data-driven and experience with SQL, JavaScript, XML, Photoshop, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with common growth hacking and marketing tools (i.e. for landing pages, conversion optimization, analytics, content marketing, social media, acquisition)
  • Ability to connect and build working relationships at all levels
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English and German language
  • Being a people’s person and understand user behaviour
  • Strong project management, execution, and communication skills
  • The ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and the challenge of quickly evolving goals
