We offer real-time programmatic advertising capabilities through our proprietary Real-Time-Bidding Platform, targeting online travellers with relevant, bookable and available travel offers from across the globe. Our team of experts and state-of-the-art tools enable travel audience to provide full service to our advertisers – from campaign setup to data integration to performance optimization.

Additionally our premium publisher network consisting of the top travel portals enables us to uniquely match the search and booking interest of online travellers with up-to-date travel offers. Travel portals (publishers) benefit from travel audience by monetizing their non-converting traffic better.

Head of Sales DACH (f/m)

As Head of Sales DACH you lead the DACH Sales team with 2 FTEs. You are responsible for the acquisition and retention of key strategic advertisers and publishers and drive the expansion both regarding market penetration as well as upselling new products.

What You’ll Do

  • You lead the relationships with our key advertisers and publishers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria
  • You lead your team towards a high performance entity within the overall sales organization
  • You track pipeline, develop and communicate accurate forecasts of your team to the management team
  • You implement and achieve strategic sales targets
  • You secure sustainable growth of existing key accounts and lead contract negotiations
  • You optimize and enhance the product portfolio based on feedback from partners, customers and market trends
  • You work closely with the Ad Operations management team at travel audience
  • You collaborate closely with the international sales teams of Amadeus and TravelTainment in DACH
  • You participate in industry trade events
  • You report to the Head of Sales Europe

 

Who We Are Looking For

  • You hold a university or college degree in Economics, Media Science, Business Administration or the like
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in online advertising in outbound sales, ideally at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising role
  • You have a network including advertising agencies, media buyers and technology decision-makers, ideally in the travel industry
  • You are experienced in managing longer sales cycles with many stakeholders
  • You have strong negotiation skills  and strong analytics capabilities
  • You are fluent in German and English
