We are looking for an IT Specialist (m/w) to support our 100 person Berlin office in all kinds of tier 1 IT support from permissions to security.
We are steadily growing and every new hire requires computer set-up in the first weeks. You will support us during the onboarding and offboarding of employees, handling their permissions and licenses for internal tools, creating a lean structure and data security standards.
You will own and manage the cloud based software licenses for all departments in case of onboarding, resets and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for filling possible security gaps, as well as for keeping (IT-) security-guidelines up-to-date and running in collaboration with our legal department. Managing and distributing our technology inventory under a team work with the Admin team will be a high priority. Moreover, we want you to rethink and automate these processes as far as possible and become our security mentor.
We expect you to become our first go to person for employees for optimization or troubleshooting required on their laptops (predominantly macOS), phones and printer. You will proactively help your colleagues where an advanced troubleshooting expertise should be needed, such as a previous owner not resetting or deleting the Apple ID, and be our primary contact with the German speaking Apple Care Support for advanced issues.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with HR being our master of several slack bots, which have to be integrated for example with Google Apps or our HR software to facilitate cross-team communication and transparent vacation planning. Their maintenance is crucial for smooth collaboration in our growing team.
