As M&A Leader you are fully responsible for the due diligence, take-over and transformation of a traditional bank into an innovative online service company.
You will create and implement a realisable and aspirational vision, and implement the strategic and conceptual work associated with it.
You will select the target, perform the due diligence and take decisions regarding negotiations, the takeover process, integration strategy, product range and marketing concepts for the new online bank.
You will strategically and operationally lead the bank during the integration period.
As an M&A Leader it is up to you to represent the company to external stakeholders and present it to potential investors.
You will work with a team of top professionals.
You must be comfortable with taking a leadership role. You will have to select and hire new team members, develop them and motivate the entire company of up to 300 employees.
An outstanding and proven M&A track record, ideally in banking or financial services, including experience in post-merger integration.
Professional experience in an online and/or mobile business and/or in the financial services/private equity sector for at least 5 years.
Must understand the possibilities and implication of the internet and new technologies for banking corporations.
Ability to negotiate deals in both friendly and hostile environments.
Thirst to inspire and be inspired.
An innovative, open-minded and communicative personality.
Strong analytical skills and sound financial knowledge.
Native in German and fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
