The wincubator is an independent unit of Wilo SE that works at the intersections of smart buildings, cleantech, and water. We support startups, young enterprises, and more established companies that leverage new technologies and digitization to create solutions towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future.

We do this through our programs tailored to the critical needs of each type of company at its particular stage: Incubation, investment and co-creation. Moreover, we will build a community of Smart Building startups and companies by organizing meet-ups, workshops, challenges and hackathons.

You’ll be the wind beneath our wings by helping us with research and administrative support. You’ll manage internal and external communications to make sure that everyone stays in the loop, while also learning what it’s really like in the startup world.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researching startups (35%)
  • Manage and update social media and communications via website and social media channels (35%)
  • Formatting reports, presentations, and documents
  • Receiving and responding to phone calls and emails from startups, partners, HQ
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings
  • Booking travel arrangements, etc.
  • Expense reporting, occasional budgeting assistance
  • Occasional event planning assistance
  • Managing office (dealing with service providers, consultants, contractors, etc. while also minding the mail, filling the printer with ink, keeping office supplies stocked, etc.)
  • Other tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Social media savvy
  • Digital native
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good sense of humor with relentlessly resourceful attitude towards new challenges
  • Experience with other cultures outside Europe a must
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, WordPress and Adobe Indesign a plus, budgeting skills a plus
