Zalando’s marketing is state of the art. We promote the world’s best online fashion experience and want to build lasting relationships with our customers in all 15 countries where Zalando is active. Our marketing professionals use all available online channels: we have experts in SEM and SEO as well as Social Media, Affiliate, Display and Email Marketing. In the more traditional channels we produce the popular TV adverts, Zalando fashion magazines and catalogues. We aim to innovate in marketing, design, graphics and photography and to create something new and unique – the Zalando shopping experience. 

 

SALES MANAGER (M/F)

We want you to aim high and there's no time to lose: we're offering a permanent position to start immediately in a responsible role in our Sales team.
 

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Your job will be to introduce and establish the new Zalando Media Solutions among our brands and beyond. You are the face to the client when it comes to this new and exciting product and it is on you to make sure our brands immediately see the unique value proposition we can offer to them.
  • You’ll actively manage the acquisition process as one of your core responsibilities as well as close general agreements and ad campaign deals with our brands
  • You’ll identify leads, initiate contact to budget owners and introduce Zalando Advertising Services and its USP customized to each brand’s needs
  • You’ll compile custom campaign proposals (together with Key Account Management and Campaign Managers), head contract and campaign negotiations and you have the lead for all steps until the deal is closed
  • You’ll work closely with Account Management during and after sales to ensure the highest client satisfaction and act as the liaison for the client
  • You’ll maintain a strong pipeline of potential new clients to continuously meet / exceed ambitious revenue and client satisfaction goals.
  • You’ll drive results for Zalando Advertising Solutions
  • At Zalando we value longstanding, trusting relationships with our brands and we rely on you to represent just that when working with our brands

 

WHAT YOU'VE GOT

  • You’ve more than 5 years of B2B online sales experience, ideally in e-Commerce and/or fashion with a proven track record of successfully introducing a new product. Previous experience with fashion brands is a plus
  • You’ve excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • You’re able to interact independently at a senior management level
  • You have a passion for online and a never ending curiosity for the e-commerce landscape
  • You’re able to explain complex tasks in a simple manner
  • You’re driven, well organized and have a strong customer focus
  • You’re willing to travel
