Your Mission

Are you a  business leader who thrives on influencing and building strong relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations?  Are you also a strategic thinker who can quickly understand partner business models and predict client requirements? If so, this may be the job for you!

Shopgate is looking for a Partner Manager to grow our partner ecosystem of system integrators, agencies, and development partners.  You must be a self-starter, a strategic thinker, and have a track record of success building out partner networks in the SaaS e-commerce industry, preferably selling into enterprise level accounts.  


What You’ll Do On a Daily Basis

  • Provide tailored value propositions (proposals) and create detailed go-to-market plans that underscore our value proposition to the marketplace and create new revenue opportunities
  • Work with partner sales teams to keep Shopgate top of mind for appropriate opportunities
  • Closely monitor, measure, and report on key performance metrics in each market
  • Build a strategic plan for initiating conversations, selling the value of a mutually beneficial working relationship to those partners, and defining the structure of partnerships
  • Evangelising our partner program both internally and externally as well as expanding relationships with existing partners
  • Educate and train partners on product and brand awareness
  • Assist partners in responding to RFPs and in winning business
  • Be responsible for recruiting, developing, nurturing, and expanding new and existing key partner relationships

Who You Are

  • Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - articulate, concise and compelling
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change, works independently, and thrives in a fast paced environment (previous start-up experience a plus)
  • Maintains awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, and new industry developments
  • Proven track record of driving sales and exceeding quotas in a channel sales role
  • Ability to accurately forecast channel bookings/revenue
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestic and internationally

The right fit

  • 4+ years of partner sales in SaaS e-commerce
  • BA/BS degree, MBA or Masters degree a plus
  • Experience in direct and indirect B2C and B2B sales
  • Experience in Partner Management
  • Multiple languages is a huge plus
  • Fluent English is required
