Kreditech is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the development of its loan processing workflow. Working together with other business departments, you would be driving the software development process according to operational and strategic business requirements.
Your role at Kreditech
As technical project manager you will be analysing the business needs, creating technical specifications and managing the software development process related to Kreditech's java-based loan application engine
You will be the central point of coordination between development, QA and functional teams (risk, data science, operations, marketing) and report directly to the CTO
You will be in charge of creating technical solutions related to problems regarding core business processes (credit scoring, payment processing, loan lifecycle management)
You will work with big data processing and state-of-the-art technologies
You will be managing a motivated team of talented developers
- You hold a Bachelors (or higher) Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology and worked for a minimum of 2 years as a software engineer
You have proven expertise with software engineering concepts across the software development lifecycle (requirements management, development methodologies, testing and documentation)
You can show a good understanding of Java-Tools and Frameworks (eg. Spring, Hibernate, Maven) as well as Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with Scala and Python is a plus
You bring expertise in Web Application Development, especially with regards to Restful / Api-based services
You are experienced in managing geographically distributed development teams and in the use of Agile Methodologies (preferably XP / Scrum), inc. daily standups and retrospectives.
You are a good communicator with regards to all stakeholders and quickly understand the key-value drivers of the business
You are very detailed-oriented regarding your work and not afraid to identify and address problems
In addition to these hard skills, we are looking for someone who has a good sense of humor, an ability to communicate well and interact with a diverse international team, and who is willing to put in the time needed to get the job done.
