The role

  • The Access Control Manager has the daily responsibility for all of the events being run by our customers. This includes:
  • Maintenance and installation of software and hardware
  • Planning/scheduling and delivery of all equipment and personnel
  • Manage, maintain and report as necessary on all equipment stock
  • Liaise with and utilise support from suppliers and other partners as required
  • Guidance and support on location access/validation procedures
  • Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and communicate this to relevant departments in the Company
  • Working closely with our account managers and the event organisers themselves
  • Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required
  • Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to Company approval
  • Report to Head of Access Control Management


Attributes & Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
  • Technical degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) with at least three years proven relevant work experience
  • Organised, efficient and punctual
  • Can work independently for periods of time whilst being able to easily fit into teams on event sites
  • Keep accurate records of all events and interactions with customers
  • Work in fast moving and stressful event environments
  • Have strong affinity with and knowledge of events and the entertainment/music sector
  • High affinity with hardware including wireless networks, PDAs, scanners, PC’s
  • Good sense of humor & fun
  • Geographical awareness

Your profile

  • German: native language
  • English: fluent (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Driving licence (full and clean)
