The rapidly growing intercity bus market presents the travel industry with new challenges. It is our goal to be the leading technology innovator. We want to make booking an intercity bus ticket as simple as booking a flight, no matter where you are in the world. To achieve this, we connect intercity bus operators with travel agencies, websites or mobility apps worldwide. We have built a strong distribution network and plan to grow fast in the coming months. Business Development / Sales Manager (m/f)
full-time position


We are looking for ahighly motivated Business Development / Sales Manager who wants to become part of a growing travel tech startup and helps us to expand our partner network. You need to be a team player and will take full responsibility for growing our client portfolio in Europe.


Your tasks

  • You develop our business development and sales strategy and improve sales processes
  • You work closely with our product management team to develop concepts for new features that bring additional value to our partners
  • You acquire new partners and manage our existing partner accounts of leading intercity bus and mobility providers in Europe
  • You effectively communicate and present the company’s value proposition and vision to partners
  • You build strong relationships to our partners, prepare offers and close deals
  • You hire and lead a sales team from scratch and take personnel responsibility
  • You will represent Distribusion at relevant fairs and events to generate leads


Your desired background

  • You have at least two years of experience in B2B business development or sales, preferably in travel or mobility industries
  • You have a proven track record of sales success
  • You graduated in business administration, tourism management or any similar degree
  • You understand software products and digital business models
  • You are experienced in managing sales processes and have strong communication and negotiation skills
  • You work self-reliant, target-oriented and are able to prioritize various tasks
  • You are fluent in English, German and other languages are a plus
