Director of Marketing (m/w/d)

We are seeking a Director of Marketing for our B2C international division who enjoys the fast-paced feeling of a start-up within an established company. As the Director of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in impacting our international business. You should be a performance driven marketer who excels at developing strategy which yields best in market results. This position will report into the VP of Global Marketing for and work closely with Directors from various departments across the company. In addition, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 marketing specialists and driving international market growth, user adoption, brand awareness, performance marketing and customer engagement.

What will you do?

  • Define and execute overall marketing strategy for’s international platform in alignment with our global business strategy. Present strategies to senior leadership
  • Oversee acquisition marketing, CRM/member marketing, as well marketing creative (copy and design)
  • Lead the international marketing team by setting prioritization, inspiring, and motivating others through recognition and coaching
  • Own and direct the quantitative analysis and reporting of business performance, specifically around performance marketing
  • Maintain expertise on all aspects of international solutions
  • Continuously monitor market data, competitive products, and prospect feedback

Who are you?

  • You have accomplished working experience in Digital Marketing with a focus on acquisition and/or retention in B2C, previous experience with a subscription business model is a plus
  • You have excellent leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to forge strong interpersonal relationships across the company’s offices
  • You are financially sharp and able to forecast, budget and reconcile expenses
  • You are highly creative and think outside the box to find new ways to generate interest and excitement among our target prospects
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to measure, analyze, understand and present data to measure program effectiveness and validate strategy and spend
  • You are experienced across a breadth of channels like SEM, Email, Social, TV and feed partnerships and others
  • BS required and MBA preferred
  • Fluent business English, German or another European Language is a plus
