Eventbrite is looking for a rockstar Category Marketing Specialist in Germany to lead marketing programs and initiatives that build brand awareness and increase new user acquisition in one of our largest and most varied event verticals in Germany: Business & Professional.

In this role, you’ll be bases in our Berlin office and part of the German team responsible for growing a vast world of events—from large conferences to weekly meet-ups, from tech to science to nonprofit to education sectors. You will develop strategies and execute key activities designed to grow our market share in target segments and convert more organizers into Eventbrite advocates. You’ll work cross-functionally across our Marketing, Sales, Product and Design teams to drive initiatives forward, and ultimately help accelerate Eventbrite’s growth across these core markets.

You Will


  • Build our marketing strategies and execute integrated marketing campaigns for brand building and user acquisition in Germany
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research, and conduct competitive analyses to develop effective product positioning and messaging for your target categories
  • Develop studies and build local content to establish Eventbrite as a thought leader and key partner in the Business & Professional space
  • Seek out and manage strategic partnerships with key organizations and influencers to drive awareness and penetration in your core markets
  • Partner with product marketing on go-to-market planning and execution to effectively launch new features to users
  • Combine your marketing savvy with in-depth analysis of your categories to recommend, plan and launch future growth opportunities for your industry verticals
  • Partner across the marketing team to deploy 360 marketing tactics to fuel the business, including on- and offline advertising, email marketing, PR, social media, content marketing, SEO/SEM, event sponsorship, and activation at industry events and conferences


You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, with a passion for consumer insights
  • Bachelor degree from a top-tier university; Master preferred
  • Fluent written and spoken German, advanced English
  • Experience planning marketing strategies and executing campaigns in the German speaking market from end to end
  • Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and expertise at managing multiple work streams
  • Experience with negotiating and managing marketing partnerships
  • Strong data and marketing analytics skills
  • Creativity, cross-collaboration ability, and a “make it happen” spirit

  • Experience with both B2C and B2B marketing
  • Experience in content strategy and inbound marketing

  • Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events
