Eventbrite is looking for an extraordinary Country Marketing Manager to own the strategic development and hands-on execution of Eventbrite’s marketing initiatives and operations in the German market. Are you self-driven, results-oriented, analytical, creative, a pro in online marketing, able to manage multi channel marketing programs, addicted to tracking and crazy about tech? Do you have a natural ability to rally people and the initiative to roll up your sleeves to make it happen?

The Country Marketing Manager - Germany, based in our German subsidiary office in Berlin, will own the strategy, launch, and execution of key marketing initiatives and build a strong online presence in the fast growing German market. We’re looking for someone to lead a terrific team on the ground, partner cross-functionally with our global Product, Sales, Analytics and Marketing teams and work closely with our international colleagues in the US and the UK to drive projects efficiently and effectively. This position is critical in setting the direction for Eventbrite Germany’s Marketing efforts.

You Will

  • Own and lead the marketing strategy and tactical execution to drive user acquisition and retention across all marketing channels in Germany

  • Evaluate and explore new opportunities, develop a go-to-market strategy, drive measurable results

  • Analyse performance data, optimise campaigns, report on success metrics to cross-functional partners and the executive team

  • Ensure seamless US and international execution through excellent team communication and coordination

  • Build partnerships to increase awareness and drive adoption of our product

  • Partner with international product manager and advise on product road map to improve performance in Germany

  • Work closely with our local PR resources, including setting the strategy and execution

  • Work closely with US channel marketing managers to implement localised campaigns, managing and providing the content for collateral and other marketing materials to effectively communicate brand and product positioning to local audiences

  • Assist in business planning and forecasting and take full ownership of performance against plan

  • Help build out our global marketing team as Eventbrite continues to expand internationally

You Bring

  • 6+ years experience in marketing and operations, preferably for international brands in Germany

  • An innate ability to lead a team and motivate and grow direct reports

  • The ability to deliver results working collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • The drive to establish yourself as a company and industry thought leader

  • Experience running online marketing campaigns through search, display, and partnership channels

  • A data-driven approach and proven analytical prowess, we’re looking for someone with a passion for data and metrics

  • Experience with launching and growing in a new country or market

  • Proven experience owning marketing campaigns and efforts from start to finish

  • Strong knowledge of social media channels and practices, experienced in managing social media campaigns

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, you should be determined to dramatically grow your business

  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail

  • Executive confidence and poise, yet hungry and humble

Bonus Points

  • Experience with both B2B and B2C businesses (we are a mix of both)

  • Experience launching and growing an e-commerce marketplace

  • Previous experience working in a startup/growth-stage company environment

  • International experience working closely with teams on multiple continents

  • Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events

  • Experience with public speaking
