  • You are responsible for the entire operations department managing Order Fulfillment & Logistics and Purchasing related to E-commerce (e.g. online shop and online marketplaces)

  • Order Fulfillment & Logistics: You manage and optimize
    • order fulfillment including invoicing, credits and return handling
    • logistics providers including national and international warehouses
    • supply chain to all warehouses
    • customer service for Moema Webshop and marketplaces
    • control and management of payment providers

  • Purchasing:
    • You control a purchasing budget of EUR 1-2 million per year
    • You are responsible for continuous product availability in warehouses and coordinate purchase orders
    • You develop an inventory planning system and optimize purchase budgeting system to meet growth-related new requirements
    • You conduct regular negotiations with existing suppliers
    • You scout new products with sales potential and establish supplier relations
  • You analyze all operations processes and continuously work on their improvement
  • You monitor operational KPIs, prepare management reports and implement corrective actions
  • You become part of the Top Management and report to the CEO
  • You manage a small operational team for warehouse and shipping


  • Ideally 3-6 years of prior experience in Operations and Purchasing management 
  • Min. 3 years of prior experience in an E-commerce startup (mandatory)
  • Relevant experience in logistics, including handling multiple marketplaces warehouses and supply chain
  • University degree or similar in the area of business, E-commerce, logistics or supply chain
  • Experience with Magento and knowledge of marketplaces like Amazon  
  • Strong affinity for everything related to E-commerce and Tech
  • Data driven and analytical decision maker with a getting-things-done attitude
  • Use of structured and methodological approach for all activities
  • Ability to negotiate in German and English, skills in additional languages are a plus
  • Enthusiasm to work in international teams and interest in social entrepreneurship and/or coffee
