Your role

  • Create tools to measure the quality of the software created and automate processes
  • Setup code quality systems, improve them and maintain them
  • Deployment and Maintenance of Virtualisation Infrastructure (IaaS) and Cloud Tools (SaaS)
  • Perform DevOps services for the company’s products
  • Design, implement and support the company’s network and server infrastructure
  • Responsible for documenting and communicating policies and updates
  • Responsible for maintaining surveillance and monitoring solutions
  • Work closely with the product teams to develop prototypes and research new technologies and solutions
  • Support, advise and negotiate with our clients and providers
  • Interact with other teams. Participate with positive and helpful reviews
  • Monitor and participate in workflow tracking (Jira) and documentation (Confluence) so that these scalable industrialised processes facilitate business growth


Our requirements

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent work experience relevant to the role
  • At least 5 years experience as a System Administrator, DevOps or similar role
  • Knowledge of HA and CD, and work experience with both types of solutions
  • Strong understanding of Linux administration (mainly Debian and CentOS) as well as network administration
  • Strong understanding of general Linux services (Apache, Nginx, MySQL, DNS servers, SMTP servers, etc.) and advanced skills in Git & Puppet
  • Experience in virtualisation (KVM, QEMU, CloudStack, Openstack, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in Ruby on Rails deployment, scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with Cassandra, Hadoop and Hbase is a plus
  • Passionate about technology and willing to develop expertise in any emerging field
  • Experience with Git and continuous integration ‘ passion for benchmarking and optimisation
  • Experience of working in teams that are run with ‘agile’ processes
  • Quick to learn and fast to adapt to changing environments
  • Versatile and eager to tackle new problems with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
