An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for nu³ - fast growing and leading online nutrition company based in Berlin. For our further worldwide expansion we are looking for a Head of Category Management (f/m). As such you will lead the category management team to the next level of international success. It will be your responsibility that we provide the products that suit current and future international market needs. With your strong analytical skills, your business judgment and your entrepreneurial spirit you will push the profitable growth. Your proven track record of building strong supplier relationships enables you to build up valuable cooperation and guarantees that we follow global nutritional market trends. Furthermore, you will ensure that category strategies are highly aligned to the nu³ business strategy.


The duties involved in this role include (but are not limited to)

  • Manage the implementation of nu³’s vision and strategy via category management
  • Ensure that the portfolio is presented in the best possible way in the shop as well as in all marketing channels
  • Leverage the performance of the categories based on retail analysis as well as on shopper and market insights
  • Define and implement growth concepts for the private label revenue share
  • Brief Marketing concerning category trends to jointly set up campaigns
  • Guide the development, evaluation and management of relationships with suppliers
  • Partner with the private label team to drive quality and innovation of their product development
  • Ensure performance oriented cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Yield Management, Purchasing, Business Intelligence and Business Development


The role requires many skills including

  • Outstanding academic credentials from an internationally acknowledged business university
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in senior position in Category Management, Sales or Blue Chip Consultancy
  • Successful history ofbuilding, leading and mentoring effective teams
  • Hands-on mentality with focus on efficient implementation
  • Impeccable business judgment, strong analytical skills and a proven success in transforming analysis into an action plans
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to self-motivate
  • A strong negotiator and net-worker (customers and internal stakeholders)
  • Fluent English communication skills
