Join us as our Head of Country Management! In a nutshell: You will be responsible for managing country managers + teams in 6 different markets while reporting to the global top level management.
Directs the development of strategic and business plans consistent with the established mission, vision, core values and strategic plan of the organization, and assist with their proper execution.
Participates in the development of the company’s strategic plan.
Evaluates need and recommend opportunities for business development and expansion in any given market
Provides leadership to ensure best utilization of resources in obtaining corporate goals, regulatory compliance, and compliance with corporate policies
Provides leadership to anticipate future personnel needs of the country teams and assists with some hiring decisions
Ensure the needs and concerns of the country managers are evaluated and taken care of
Establishes and maintains partnerships with third parties to promote smooth operations
Engages in other outside activities consistent with the organization's responsibilities in the community and the industry.
Reviews and evaluates the countries’ performance on a continuing basis and provides direction for modification of systems and/or implementation of new systems.
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, vision, values, philosophy and culture of the organization.
Mentor, guide and coach those directly reporting to them in order to expand their capabilities and build management depth in the organization.
A Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's from a top University with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, etc
Ideally you have gained team leadership and project management experience in a competitive environment, such as startup, tech, consulting, banking, sales, etc.
You are very familiar with Powerpoint, Excel and ideally have some technical background in mySQL
You are vitally concerned with and have strong experience in ecommerce, online finance, or something related - you know the ins and outs of working online. This is a must!
You have a strong understanding of KPIs and an analytical mind which loves these
You work well with people and have a clear, open method of communication. You can manage diverse, international teams.
You are really driven to excel at everything you do and to bring the company forward with every decision you make
You have a strong backbone / personality and a good sense of humor
