Currently we are looking for a

Head of Digital Audience Development (f/m)

In this brand new role, you will unite a mix of disciplines, comprising digital marketing, social media, data and SEO. Your job is to provide a clear strategic framework for all disciplines, while acting as an expert in social media strategy and paid marketing. Together with your team you continuously strive to improve Condé Nast’s digital audience.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement necessary strategies to grow our brand portfolio’s influence and distribution across owned assets and external platforms
  • Structure, conceptualize and steer projects or campaigns to support specific products across our brand portfolio
  • Optimize marketing efforts – earned, owned or paid – relying on your experience in this field
  • Lead a team of data and SEO experts, putting their skillset to best operational use in combination with your skillset and strategic guidance
  • Work closely across all brands with editorial, product management and technology teams, winning them for your strategy and acting as a trustworthy partner to achieve common goals
  • Share relevant rising industry themes and identify new opportunities

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with a major website, digital advertising agency or online marketing, publishing or eCommerce organization with a thorough understanding of online business models and strategies
  • Passionate about the interplay of content, technology and social media with the ability to define strategies based on insights and to put them into action
  • Experience in performance marketing and good understanding of acquisition channels
  • Hands-on knowledge of social media platforms and digital analytics
  • Solid project management, problem solving and leadership skills
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment, being a team-player, happy to discuss ideas and find solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated by challenges and new opportunities
  • Fluency in English and German
