Growth and Marketing Manager (m/f)

Hey there! We are the Apps team at, a subsidiary of the Daimler AG.
We aim to connect all car users with the services and information they need to make experiencing, maintaining, and using a car simpler and more delightful. We’re looking for you to shape our products by working closely with our development, product design, business, and communications teams.

In particular, we are currently looking for an:

Growth and Marketing Manager (f/m)

In this role, you will

  • steer us through the waters of AARRR
  • collaborate in a diverse team of seasoned developers, designers, data scientists, and marketing as well as business experts who have experience in building, scaling, and operating digital services with large user bases
  • eventually be expected to understand our product, it’s risk, potential, and audience deeply
  • identify customer segments and come up with specific targeting for each group
  • bring our latest product to market and use the insights and learnings to improve the process for the next product
  • define success metrics and funnels and ensure their consistent implementation
  • define clear targets for KPIs and CPA together with the other stakeholders
  • define channels, channel mix, and volume per channel
  • help setting up budgets with your colleagues at Daimler
  • create long term strategies to grow and expand the product’s audience
  • operationalise the strategy with the team as well as by selecting/briefing the right freelancers/agencies
  • analyze the outcome of your strategy and translate it into plans and roadmaps
  • always be prepared to pick up new skills and tools when appropriate
  • work collaboratively, helping your colleagues (and the team) become better from their experience

Ideally you possess the following skills

  • 3-5 year experience in a similar role
  • if needed at any time you can be very hands on in the following areas:
  • SEO and content marketing
    • using and optimising SEO tools (AdWords, Sistrix, Searchmetrics or SEOMoz)
    • Performance Marketing
    • Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adjust, Marketing Automation tool
    • AppStore Marketing
  • experience in working with small startups and big corporations alike
  • an intrinsic motivation for building good products that put our users in the center
  • strong leadership capabilities and the ability to drive cross-functional teams

There will be big smiles if you

  • have experience in growing mobile products
  • are moving from Growth/Marketing execution to management

This is a full-time (40h) permanent position, based in our office here in Berlin. We have a fantastic team with people from all over Europe. We encourage frequent collaboration and pairing across disciplines.
