We are looking for a Mobile Marketing Manager (f/m) to lead our mobile marketing efforts in building and executing successful marketing strategies for our DaWanda Apps (iOS and Android).

Your Responsibilities

  • Grow DaWanda's app downloads by working with various DaWanda marketing channels and external partners to develop and execute effective acquisition campaigns 
  • Develop onsite, online and offline marketing programs to drive user engagement of our mobile app 
  • Plan and optimize direct-to-consumer campaigns via in-app Push messaging (iOS & Android) to drive downloads and engagement
  • Perform mobile advertising testings and analytics to identify and prioritize new opportunities in mobile advertising for DaWanda
  • Continually improve mobile performance by analyzing app data
  • Refine and improve mobile marketing strategies and proactively share results, insights and business impacts with key stakeholders
  • Actively monitor competitive practices and other mobile industry movement / standards to ensure DaWanda remains ahead of the curve and best-in-class 
  • Be the voice of the mobile customer across DaWanda marketing -- email, display, search ads, push notifications, and other channels (e.g. ensure all content is designed to deliver an optimal mobile experience in all channels)
  • Work with development team to maximize existing technology and serve as a stakeholder to drive new technology development 

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, media, economics or related disciplines (a Masters degree or MBA is a plus)
  • Several years of relevant work experience in performance marketing, online marketing or CRM
  • Broad digital marketing experience, including content, search and e-commerce platforms
  • Intimate knowledge of the mobile landscape (iOS and Android) and a vision for the mobile future 
  • Ability to effectively understand data, analyze results, draw insights and conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions by using web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word 
  • Strong team player with a hands-on mentality, able to communicate across groups with differing interests 
  • Very good command of written and spoken English and German
