The innogy Innovation Hub is looking for an experienced and well-connected Online Marketing Expert (m/f) to provide immediate and direct operational support to our Venture Teams and their projects.

We are planning to set up a Venture Marketing Force, a team of operational marketing specialists, to meet the needs of our new ventures quickly and efficient. The (Online) Marketing Expert should be a more senior person with 4-5 years of experience from working in a similar role, either in an agency or in companies, preferably in a start-up environment.


  • Providing marketing expertise and support to build and grow new products and services created in the Innovation Hub
  • Consulting and advising ventures on marketing activities especially during lean testing phase but also during transfer into scaling/growing phase
  • Supporting the development of marketing concepts and plans for individual ventures, to develop and execute effective marketing activities, and to measure, learn & optimize
  • Developing ideas and strategies for marketing campaigns that includes paid advertising (SEA, Display, …), social media marketing, content marketing, website & landing pages, SEO as well as below the line activities
  • Developing and implementing testing scenarios, for example A/B or multivariate tests
  • Defining success metrics and success measure models
  • Track, analyse and optimize campaigns, also by using effective tools
  • Ensuring data quality and use of statistics and/or analytics software (or advanced Excel Records) to visualize data incl. dependencies
  • Working with internal designers and/or external partners on creative deliverables for campaigns

Knowledge & experience

  • General online marketing experience with strong “customer first” thinking
  • Good understanding as well of offline channels and for brand building
  • Very good expertise and experience across online marketing disciplines including performance marketing (possibly also with Google certification exams), social media and content marketing, email-marketing as well as growth marketing & growth hacking tactics
  • Good knowledge of offline/below the line marketing disciplines and channels
  • Experienced in conversion and landing page optimization and familiar with tools for landing page building & testing
  • He/she is comfortable working in a flexible, agile and iterative environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Experienced working in sprints (e.g. following SCRUM methodology)
  • Experience with marketing automatization systems, for example bid management, programmatic advertising
  • Strong focus on results, measuring, learning & optimizing and experience in web / data analytics for campaigns, websites and mobile applications (apps)
  • Experience in construction, implementation and analysis of testing scenarios as A/B or multivariate tests (tools such as VWO, Optimizely) and the use of established tools and technologies (tracking, analytics, AdWords Editor, social media, monitoring)
