BOOK A TIGER is a rapidly growing start-up in the heart of Berlin, which gives customers the opportunity to find reliable and experienced cleaners easily online, with just a few simple steps.  We are currently operating in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Switzerland and are already planning to expand into further countries and markets. We are a professional and experienced team (founders and core team of Delivery Hero) and together with you we would like to change the landscape of the cleaning sector and establish BOOK A TIGER as the international brand for high quality cleaning.

For our division “Partner Operations” we are looking for a highly motivated Operations Manager (m/f) who rolls up his/her sleeves and supports us at our Berlin headquarters. As Operations Manager you are responsible for all activities related to our employed cleaning professionals – starting with onboarding to training and finally planning and executing our international expansion. You will report directly to the BOOK A TIGER management and you will lead the existing teams comprised under “Employed Tigers”.

Your responsibilities

  • You manage your teams regarding target setting, coordinating, process optimization and product development
  • You plan and optimize the utilization of our cleaning professionals and you are accountable for sufficient capacity in order to match our demand
  • You allocate budget and team resources to reach your targets
  • You are the accountable contact partner for all questions regarding employed cleaners across all markets (DE, CH, AT, NL)
  • You directly report to the BOOK A TIGER management
  • You closely work with our engineering team to improve our technical product

Your profile

  • You are a graduate (ideally in an economic field) and already gained some relevant work experience in first jobs and internships
  • You have very strong quantitative capabilities and data speaks to you - you can draw solid conclusions from data
  • You show entrepreneurial drive and the ability to achieve goals on time
  • You can manage a team and lead against targets to success
  • You are switched on, curious and a solutions first kind of person
  • You are capable of developing new processes and rolling them out globally
  • You are relentlessly positive and highly energetic
  • You have a high affinity to technology and exhibit a structured and independent working style
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English is required
