About the job

SimScale represents a complete new approach how scientists and engineers can use technical simulation: simple, efficient and affordable. For our fast growing international marketing and sales team, we are looking for an energized Product Marketing agent that will help us leap forward.

This position will be the central link between our product development department and out external focused sales, service and marketing teams. You will need to have the deep product and IT knowledge about our platform combined with the profile mindset of our customers. By combining both sides you will be responsible of defining and producing the highest standard customer facing collateral that we would need for the future.

As we are in the front of the field it is important that you are not afraid of standing on new grounds with our cutting edge platforms without rock solid processes backing you up.

Key Responsibility / The cool stuff you’ll do

  • Write and publish high quality / unique content on various Industry and technology related topics. Ensure corrections in our social media interaction and blog posts
  • Responsible for facilitating all product and feature information for upcoming releases in an understandable and appealing fashion to Sales and Marketing
  • Create internal and external product and feature collateral. This includes, How-to guides, tutorials, library projects and training contents
  • Conducting top of the line professional industry and technical webinars, both with marketing and sales focus
  • Ensure top of the line marketing content for case studies and whitepapers, this can also include industry reports and articles
  • Ensure timely response to call for papers and award replies, be in the front of our industry field
  • Develop different positioning scenarios for our upcoming product launches with our game-changing team. Make clear recommendations on how to position our products and features.
  • Drive all product marketing initiatives, including customer insight, positioning, Branding, Naming, partnerings and competitor alignment
  • Assist Sales, Service and support with customer engagement and retention
  • Collect, understand and report market information (competitive updates, territory issues, product successes, etc.) that will allow marketing to create initiatives that will support our sales goals
  • Take over a central responsibility of creating great tutorials and explanation simulations

Knowledge, skills and abilities / Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in engineering simulation, including but not limited to:
    • Fluid flow analysis
    • Structural analysis
    • Thermodynamics analysis
    • Acoustics simulation
    • FEM / FVM / LBM / SPH
  • Proven track record of solving industrial simulation challenges
  • Experience with different CAD and CAE software packages
  • Business fluent English, oral & written (Native level preferred). Other language skills are highly valuable; German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Hindi
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with all levels of personnel within a business unit from IT/Engineers to C-Level this include excellent writing, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Superior IT and PC skills, ability to quickly acquire knowledge and understanding
  • Dynamic personality with a willingness to learn about cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment
  • You thrive in an autonomous and dynamic working environment, you’re self-organized, innovative, creative and a results-oriented teamplayer
  • You can persuade people at different levels in the company, using a combination of data, gut feeling, experience and showmanship. Communicating is key
  • Adequate level of education (vocational training or university graduate)
