For our Directions Services team we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master. We provide Traffic, Routing and Navigation solutions to be used both on mobile devices and also on cloud-based services. Our software is working on millions of devices and our server’s process 250M+ transactions in each day. We work with Agile practices and co-operate with numerous different teams inside and outside of the company.

We are searching for an experienced Scrum Master that can work as part of our cross functional development teams. As the "servant leader" of our teams, you should strengthen the agile collaboration across them, support communities of practice, drive the scrum of scrums and other cooperative initiatives.

Your tasks

  • Scrum Mastering our development teams
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads and QA team
  • Coordinate resolution of issues / remove impediments / Follow up on issues
  • Maintenance of projects as part of Scrum
  • Organize Scrum / Agile ceremonies
  • Maintain the backlog and helping the creation of User Stories
  • Take the team to the next scrum maturity level
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information 
  • Supporting and educating Product Owners, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog

What we expect

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, math, engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Excellent social skills and ability to deal with conflicts
  • Intimately familiar with Scrum and equivalent agile methodologies
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove them
  • Enjoy being dedicated and highly available to the development team and help them to succeed
  • Know agile principles, can explain why they are important
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
