Your role

  • Responsible for the security of Centralway infrastructures, web and mobile applications
  • Develop, implement, monitor and optimise security measures. Be able to create or implement the appropriate tools and processes for these tasks
  • Work alongside our teams of developers to ensure the code quality and safety of our applications
  • To be aware of the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, malwares and threats that might affect the company. Understand how to mitigate them
  • Perform constant security assessments. Audit systems and applications
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest technologies. Understand the benefits and limitations that they will provide your team with
  • Interact with other teams and be a part of the process with positive and helpful reviews
  • Monitor and participate in workflow tracking (Jira) and documentation (Confluence) so that these scalable industrialised processes facilitate business growth

Our requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Understand how to use one of the following languages: Ruby, Python, C, BASH and Perl
  • Thorough understanding of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS and IPv6
  • Proficient with security tools including NMAP, Metasploit, Hydra, Scapy and Burp Suite
  • Experience with mobile penetration testing on Android and iOS devices
  • Some knowledge in the area of cryptography
  • Some experience with web 2.0 technologies like Ajax and some Javascript frameworks / technologies
  • Have good knowledge of web and mobile application standards and security vulnerabilities such as OWASP top 10
  • OSCP, OSCE and SANS certifications are a plus
  • Participant in the security community and enjoy to conduct security research
  • Passionate about technology and willing to develop expertise in any emerging field
  • Experience with Git and continuous integration
  • Experience of working in teams that are run with ‘agile’ processes
  • Quick to learn and fast to adapt to changing environments
  • Versatile and eager to tackle new problems with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English. German language skills are a plus
