We are looking for an amazing Senior Product Manager - Data Products (m/f) who helps us achieving this goal.


In this role you will work closely with engineering, product management and the data team to unleash the potential of data by bringing data products out of the lab to the market. You will mediate between data requirements and technical feasibility, ensuring the right feature set is defined and developed. You will partner with the other Product Managers to define how data services can be integrated into existing or new products. Furthermore, you will collaborate with Engineering team to manage development process. The ideal candidate loves data and analytics (We are all about the data here!).


What you’re going to do

  • Work with your stakeholders and tech leads to establish milestones that align with our product strategy and account for development team dependencies
  • Discover and articulate technical requirements and dependencies and communicate product requirements and goals clearly to development teams
  • Define your features and write user stories, create wireframes, get upfront estimates of time and resource utilization, estimate business values, track and report key metrics, communicate functionality and incorporate feedback
  • Lead and plan data development projects from inception to execution including implementation and do whatever your team needs to help them keep moving
  • Translate between Engineering and Data and drive products that are mainly consumed by the development teams
  • Document lessons learnt after critical milestones and propose process as well as feature improvements
  • Own product metrics and make them go move into the right direction
  • Benchmark competitors and industry trends to inform product strategy


Thats what you have to offer

  • 5+ years of business experience and a minimum 3 years of product management experience on a consumer product, preferably in e-commerce
  • The drive to build something important, and the intellectual honesty to measure success based only on results
  • Knowledge of data technology at a deep level and interface with the Development Team
  • Deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions and web and mobile analytics
  • Experience with real time data processing, e.g. with personalization service, recommendation engines
  • Your understand tech trends, see how they impact your roadmap, and how they drive innovation
  • Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team
  • You focus your skills on solving the needs of your target customer, rather than trying to create a technical solution for the product
  • You can easily visualise and communicate your data findings through presentations and reports
  • Ability to leverage analytics and reporting to get the biggest bang for your buck
  • Count von Count doesn`t have to be your favorite Sesame-Street character but you should love numbers at least as much as he does
  • Great communication and motivation skills
