As a Social Media Marketing Manager you are the source of inspiration and understanding to our athletes in the right moment and through the right channel.   • Develop the overall Freeletics social media strategy to drive engagement and reach within our existing community and to reach and inspire new users
  • Plan social media campaigns and execute ongoing posts on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest
  • Create inspiring content through copy-writing to engage with the community
  • Identify new social media channels with the aim to increase reach and engagement within new target groups
  • Develop the implementation plans and roadmaps for the adoption of new high-impact social media channels
  • Continuously analyse impact in terms of branding, user engagement, reach and conversion, assessing against KPIs
  • Collaborate with content marketing, online marketing, community management and customer support teams to foster region-specific approaches in channel maintenance, channel identification and development


  • University degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in social media marketing, in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, especially regarding social media
  • Understanding of user groups and usage incentives of different social media platforms
  • Knowledge of relevant KPIs, how to analyze data sources and how to reach these KPIs
  • Understanding of social media marketing networks (e.g. algorithm and delivery options) 
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Strong project management and organizational skills 
  • You bring a good mix of both creative and analytical approach
  • Hands-on and curious, you take the initiative to make change and have an impact
  • Affinity to fitness and nutrition, ideally you are a Free Athlete
  • Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills, other languages are a plus
