You will be working with us in Zurich in close collaboration with teams of engineers, designers, investment analysts and many other experts in order to push our products forward.


Your role

  • Research and supply tools and services for Centralway, and its ventures
  • Maintain and troubleshoot tools and services
  • Check for tool and service usage compliance
  • Responsible for documenting and communicating policies, and updates
  • Responsible for maintenance, monitoring, administration and optimisation of all services provided by the IT Services department
  • Support, advise and negotiate with suppliers and software providers
  • Design, implement and support the company’s network and internal server infrastructure
  • Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures
  • Contribute to fact-finding meetings to discuss and rectify any outage occurrences and develop safeguards
  • Ensure servers and applications meet proper performance, security and capacity standards
  • Ensure the correct level of maintenance of all hardware and software of Centralway and its ventures
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed but comprehensive documentation
  • Interact with hardware, software and service vendors to ensure timely resolutions to any issues or outages
  • Deployment and maintenance of internal and external network infrastructure (NaaS)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot our virtual server infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimise physical and virtual environments – perform all capacity and continuity planning
  • Interact with other teams and be a part of the process with positive and helpful feedback
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest technology – understand the benefits and limitations that it will provide your team
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, and bug fixing
  • Monitor and participate in workflow tracking (JIRA) and documentation (Confluence) so that these scalable industrialised processes facilitate business growth

Our requirements

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience of installing, maintaining and supplying technology services
  • Experience with data centres, servers and networking hardware
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP and other TCP/IP protocols is a plus
  • Extremely fast learner when it comes to new tools and services
  • Experience in a DevOps environment is a big plus
  • Experience with Linux systems and skills in GIT are a plus
  • You will have the most up-to-date knowledge of tooling and software engineering processes
  • Experience of working in teams that are run with ‘agile’ processes is a plus
  • Quick to learn and fast to adapt to changing environments
  • Versatile and eager to tackle new problems with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English – German language skills are a plus
