We are Targomo GmbH, a quickly growing technology start-up from Berlin that helps businesses, public organizations and geo-affine users to access the power of advanced geo analytics. Because it is not about simple maps. It’s a unique web-based solution for geographic network analysis, data visualization and route-planning for answering significant and far reaching location-based issues.

Our technology simplifies online analysis for spatial objects by applying sophisticated route planning and travel time algorithms based on OpenStreetMaps and GTFS. Initially, Targomo has its origin at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam, which still grants us access to the latest developments in the field of data analytics, visualization, big data and all related issues. Furthermore, we have established a strong partnership for research and development with the aforementioned. This allows us to provide technology which is one step ahead.

For business issues we are advised by German Deep Tech, an experienced incubator for Deep Tech companies. Our services include an open API and developing applications for our customers by either extending existing ones or designing them from scratch. Your responsibilities

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) to drive our Sales functions.

In your role, you are responsible for various sales activities and create the sales strategies for Targomo's products. You'll act as an interface to the clients and report directly to the CEO.

Your tasks

Build high-quality sales processes for enterprise clients and the public sector.
Specify value propositions for unique markets, sectors and individual clients.
Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders.
Own several opportunities at the same time.
Coordinate  sales processes from start to finish on c-level.
Guide other colleagues in the sales team and share your experiences.

Requirements

Must-have-skills

  • More than 4 years of experience in SaaS sales - preferably focused on enterprise clients
  • High affinity for modern webservices and innovative SaaS solutions
  • High level of self-organization and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent presentation skills in front of a c-level audience
  • Excellent communication skills in English - both oral and written
  • Willingness to constantly learn about new technologies and features of our products
  • Ability to keep track of international market trends
  • Willingness to constantly learn about new technologies and features of our products

Nice-to-have-skills

  • Interest in Geography and modern mapping solutions
  • Excellent communication skills in German
  • Experience in B2G sales
