We are now searching for a proven, ambitious Head of Sales who can drive Digital Advertising revenues and help build the Jodel sales organisation from scratch.

Your profile

  • You have great experience in the Digital Advertising industry, in the Advertiser side but especially in the Publisher side, where you know how to grab the attention of Advertisers
  • You know how SSPs, DSPs and DMPs work together and you have a broad understanding of Programmatic Advertising
  • You have built and executed large scale monetisation strategies for digital publishers in the gaming, media or social network industry before
  • You’re an expert in building teams that acquire prospects, manage campaigns and turn one time customers into longtime clients in a highly profitable way
  • You know the Publishers, Clients and Ad Networks in the Digital Advertising space we need to have a great relationship with
  • You lead by example and can get hands-on and do direct Sales work

Your Job

  • Own one of Jodel’s key KPI: revenue
  • Build the Sales organisation of Jodel from the ground up – you and the team you’ll be building will be selling Jodel’s Ad Space and Advertising products
  • Define a Monetization and Sales Strategy for Jodel together with Jodel’s leadership team
  • Set up Sales and Account Management processes within the organization to maximise funnel efficiencies and thus revenue
  • Work closely with the Product Team and gain a deep understanding of Jodel, what we do and who our users are, to create the best ad formats and to best sell our AdSpace
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Team to iterate and create new Advertising Products and support systems
  • Ensure your organisation builds long lasting relationships with our clients to keep them retained to drive continuous revenue, especially but not only with the big players in the media industry
